Well, most applications are either available on Mac or a (better) substitute can be found. You can run Office and Entourage (Outlook for Mac) if you like. Personally I'm using Gmail, so that wasn't an issue for me.
As for the Oracle related tools, the biggest issue for me has been not having an Oracle database running locally - you should be able to do it, but Oracle doesn't have a download for OS X on Intel (yet). You can run JDeveloper and SQL Developer, but unfortunately SQL Developer still has a long way before being able to compete with TOAD.
I mostly work with Oracle Portal, so I spend a great deal of my time in Firefox, which is also available for Mac.
So far I'm a happy switcher, having a great looking desktop and a Unix command-line only a click away is just awesome.

If you really want Oracle supporting OS X on Intel, please write Mark Townsend (mark.townsend@...) at Oracle and let him know -- he's the product manager for Oracle XE.

How about all your outlook, oracle, web stuff - does it work - or have you encountered any problems yet ?

Yeah, won't be log before I'm preaching the words of L. Ron Jobs to everyone ;)

Cupertino looks great. I immediately installed one of the Firefox themes you wrote about. With this and the 1.5.0.2 release, Firefox is looking really good on the Mac.

See you at Reboot!
