Independent Technology Consultant at productive.dk. Some of the larger projects are listed below. Also see the Featured Projects page.2010: bog.nu. A book price comparison site that also aggregates all Danish book reviews. The main app is implemented in Ruby on Rails and the real-time price search engine in EventMachine. The project was done in partnership with Casper Fabricius.
2010: scrum.dk. The personal site of scrum trainer Jens Østergaard. Built using Refinery CMS and a few custom engines. Hosted on Heroku.
2009/2010: External Consultant at DONG Energy. Implemented web-service interfaces for a datawarehouse and developed web-frontends for a masterdata repository and several smaller backend applications for operations and monitoring.
2009/2010: Scrum.org (Ken Schwaber). Site for booking certified Scrum training. Implementation in Rails, managed hosting and ongoing maintenance.
2008/2009: Scrum Training Institute (Jeff Sutherland et al.). Implementation in Ruby on Rails and ongoing maintenance and hosting.
2008: Subcontractor on development of a new danish real estate site. Implemented with Ruby on Rails and hosted on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).

With MyPersonal.com, Inc. (now Synacor, Inc.), a portal, messaging and collaboration solution provider based in Emeryville, California. Started as freelance consultant in January of 2000 working on various development projects. Joined MyPersonal in May 2000 as Senior Web Developer and later serving as Director of System Engineering reporting to the VP of Engineering.
Managed the operations of MyPersonal’s production and development environments, supervised three System Administrators and planned and supervised software development, maintenance and deployment to ensure 24×7 operations for 100+ portals. Supplied technical expertise in discussions with partners and clients.
Lead the launch of a completely redesigned version 3.0 platform including the migration of existing clients from two earlier platforms. Established the new development environment and procedures and instructed developers and HTML-coders in the use of the new platform.
Worked as lead developer on the implementation of several high profile web sites, including the MyHarley, MyBudweiser and BlueLight.com (Kmart) portals.
Designed and developed the framework to implement wireless/mobile versions of MyPersonal’s existing portals presenting the user with the same content and personalization as on the primary (desktop-based) version of the portals.
